Don Valley Bench

Brewmaster’s Notes

One of the most challenging beers we have ever brewed. Very subtle and complex with a thousand small flavours held in a very delicate balance. We made this beer using traditional beer ingredients, but it was designed to appeal to Chardonnay wine makers and drinkers and it does!

First brewed to be served at the International Cool Climate Chardonnay Celebration in 2012 in Niagara our unfiltered wheat beer is oak aged using an English ale yeast to develop notes of apple and pear with a drying acidity on the finish.

Tasting Notes: Light apple and pear aromas on the nose with a crisp dry palate and subtle vanilla oak notes and a dry finish without any husky tannin or hop bitterness.
