Brewmaster’s Notes

This lovely wheat beer is made in the time-honoured way of infusing fruit into the beer during aging to allow the Belgian yeast a secondary fermentation. This results in a refreshingly dry beer with a light “black current” flavour with a slightly cloudy pink colour. Summer in a glass!

Tasting Notes: Sweet malt aroma and palate with clean overall impression and very low esters and little yeast character. Slightly dry for the style, but the additional hop bitterness keeps this beer extremely drinkable!
Appearance: Copper with fawn head
Aroma: Malty with slight yeast ester
Body: Medium
Serving Suggestions: Roast chicken and pork, pate and hard, aged cow’s milk cheese
