BARREL YARD BROWN ALE
The original brown ale that was the inspiration for the Bedrock in the Ottawa pub. This is made with harder water and is slightly drier than the Ottawa brown ale.
Tasting Notes: Biscuity malt aroma and dark malt caramel, “cracker jack” palate with smooth texture and balanced finish. Hops are only used for dryness, not for aroma.
Appearance: Mid brown with pale fawn head
Aroma: Light chocolate, biscuit/bread
